I hope this is OK with David!

In our Church I am the Tech head that gets all the grief and fun and one of my many tasks is being responsible for the management of our web site(s). Anyway, after much grief and pain and perhaps a story I'll share another time let me introduce to the world our new baby:

Gates of Praise Online Bookstore (http://www.gatesofpraise.co.uk/)

I'd appreciate any comments though I'm not looking for one of David's in depth reviews just general "ohh nice" or "I hate it" :) type things.

It's not perfect but then I'm still bashing heads behind the secenes!

I hope this is OK with David!Hi Stu,

What forum administrators dislike are people who join their forum, make an announcement about some company or cause, then never come back to contribute to the forum.

(For example, the folks at http://www.churchmedia.net/ are really restrictive about people promoting companies on their forum.)

You, however, are a faithful contributor to this forum (thank you), so you certainly have my blessing to share about your new site.

My first impression is that, visually, the site looks very nice. I hope it succeeds in achieving its business goals, too.

Thanks David.

As a by the by the business goal is very minimal. If it makes back the money it cost to create then it has been successful. I say this because the business has been thriving as mail order and Christian events, conferences and fairs for the last decade as a mainly trade only organisation - this is just opening up an extra revenue stream to the everyday public.
