If you are like me you also do other computer-related things in your church--I get to take care of the network, pc's, software, etc. I found a good resource in Christian Computing Magazine (free monthly pdf). We were choosing Church Management Software (CMS) and they keep up a great comparison of the different choices on their website. Their articles have been pretty interesting. I second the CCM mag. They also do one for Worship and another for AV. Whilst they are fulfilling a good need I have found on numerous occasions that the articles can have glaring innacuracies.

Bear that in mind and you'll do well.
