Hi, to Everyone,

I am going to change the calendar I use on our website (Localendar). I want something that looks a bit better than I made that one look. NO, the calendar did not do it to itself. :D

I have seen people use Google calendars which look nice. On someone's website, and I think it someone on here, he (she?) had a smaller weekly calendar which scrolled on the left as well as a monthly calendar.

Does anyone have ideas on good looking calendars which I can use on our church website?

I have no figured out how to put the Google calendar on yet either, but I haven't worked at it very long either.

I feel certain there are calendars "out there, somewhere" which would be "perfect" for our website. Maybe you all know what they are!

Thanks for your help!

Carol

PS By the way, how do you determine that a website design which you might consider making is going to be better than the design you/ I already have?

Carol,

It's pretty easy to embed a Google Calendar:
Assuming you sent up an account for your client, create the calendar(s).
At the bottom of the list of calendars to the left side, click the "Manage calendars" link. In the middle, click to share the calendar.
To the left under "My Calendars", click the name of the calendar and scroll down to "Embed calendars".
Go ahead and click the "Customize the color..." link.
It will open another window/tab where you can select some options, including all the calendars you want to embed.
Select and copy the iframe HTML in the box above and paste it in your website and there you go.I discovered it last weekend and put on on my website (test) here: http://redeemerpreschurch.org/Calendar.aspx
