I have seen on websites that you can create a einvite where you type in a persons e-mail address and your address and it will send them a postcard that you have created. I am in the beginning stages of creating my first website and I was wondering if anyone could help me with this.
Thanks

Hi Terry,
First, welcome to the forum! We're glad to have you onboard.
I, too, have occasionally seen the e-invite feature as I reviewed church websites.
I don't personally know how this is done, but here are some resources for this:
http://www.dreamchurches.com/einvites.cfm
http://www.lc-words.com/index.php?pa=lcards_list
http://www.sendomatic.com/
http://www.evite.com/pages/homepage/index.jsp?src=google
This church just sends an email with an embedded link to a webpage (that constitutes the invite): http://www.first-baptist.org/pages/index.php?fuseAction=page&pID=36&PHPSESSID=842fdcf8e77d703558597a42ecde0e20
If you are using php, here's a link to another forum (Christian web masters) where a developer offers a free script:
