Hi all,
I'm Stuart from South Wales (in the UK) and I've been tasked with heading up the project to get our Church a website sorted. Me, I'm a techie with agood eye for design so understand the jagon and what works but don't always know how to hang it all together which is why I'm project lead.
At the moment I'm drafting our requirements document and researching what we should have, should do and how best to do it so any immediate thoughts or brickbats welcome.
Looking forward to interacting with you and learning from all your experiences.
Al the best
Stuart.

Hi, Stuart,
Welcome aboard!!! You will find that there are some accomplished people on here. Me, I learn from them. I am not a techie, but I love learning this stuff. I am 65, do our church website, help others when I can, and am a good cheerleader. I taught myself how to use the computer so there are giant holes in my learning, and I figured out how to do the website. When I first looked at stuff, I nearly quit before I began.
But what fun and what a joy it is!!! And the forum is great! David, the administrator, has done a terrific job with it in my not so humble opinion.
Glad you are here!!

Thanks for the welcome Carol ...
As I say I'm a techie - it's been my trade for the last 3 decades - with a bent towards good design. I know what looks good (or as an aside sounds good) but I can't always tell you why or how to achieve it.

Hi, Stu and Mr. Belfry,
It is good to here from the UK. Well, Stu, I bet you anything that you can tell me how or why to do something better than I could tell you. :D
