Hi Jeff,
Thanks for joining the forum, and posting here (and elsewhere).
I myself am planning to start a home church in the near future, so I'm glad to hear your father is pastor of a home church.

Hi, Jeff from India who is in Australia,
Good to meet you as well. I have had the pleasure of being a member of this forum for some time, and I truly enjoy it. I hope you do as well.
What kind of on-line ministry do you do, and where can we find it? I enjoy looking at other sites because I always learn from them.
Have you discovered how to make a church website "sticky" yet? Has anyone else? I am dismayed to admit that I have yet to discover what it takes. If you or anyone else has ideas, let me know. I will give them a try.
Our church does not seem to have people who are great computer users so it is difficult to get them to a website of any kind...at least I think that is true.
However, I have yet to realize what I can do in the line of actual web ministry...or that our church website can do. I am open to ideas on that as well. I finally learned on here the difference between a website and web ministry which is on a website. :D Hooray!!! But how to accomplish it...ah, that is another story completely.
Where in Australia are you located, Jeff?

Thank you David and Carol for the welcome. I had some sites for my very very new small online ministry and those did not work that well. Since I knew a lil bit of web-designing and last year i got stuck to the idea of an online community, i started a forum and that didnt take off at all. So i bought a domain name and hosted a forum using a free forum package and then promoted it in other forums. The response was amazing. After around 5 months, our servers was attacked and I lost a lot of members and posts. So I decided to buy a forum package which was more secure and advanced and hosted it back again.
Now, BY THE GRACE OF GOD the forum grew and we have around 300+ members. I cannot call this a ministry but I am sure this will be a part of the ministry which I'll do soon in the future.
The site is www.christianforumsite.com (http://www.christianforumsite.com) and I stay in Bendigo, a small town in Victoria.
Btw, I dont know what a church website sticky is.
