I was just wondering what everyone though about dynamically streaming the MP3 files through Flash MX Professional. We are going to be doing some stuff with daily devotionals for church leaders and members. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

HI, Trey,
I have no idea and no suggestions. :) However, welcome to the forum. I am certain you will find your answer from somebody.
The forum has been a bit quiet the last week. I think people are busy getting ready for Christmas. I am ready so I can still watch for the "Funny Things Happening on the Way to the Forum" and on the forum as well.
Somebody will come up with your answer, but don't hold your breath!!
Merry Christmas!!

Hi Trey,
Thanks for joining the forum, and for the post.
It's unclear from your question, however, how this relates to podcasting. Could you provide more details?
If the question relates to using Flash just to stream MP3s, without regard to podcasting, then I'll probably move this thread to the Roundtable area of the forum. However, you may very well have in mind using Flash in some manner to podcast MP3s -- either to push the content (from the server) or pull the content (to the user's browser or computer). If so, that's an intriguing idea.
Thanks.
Sincerely,

I think it adds a layer to the multimedia that isn't needed. I'd just stick with basic audio and video files.
By adding flash, you are adding another requirement for the user and possibly making it harder to view your site.
