Is there some place here for us to find or post links to church websites of members of this forum? In our profile we can list our personal website, but not the website of the church we administer.
There have been many interesting ideas discussed here and many good opinions expressed. I think we should have a chance to show off what we learned from each other or be held accountable for not practicing what we preach :)

Is there some place here for us to find or post links to church websites of members of this forum? Thanks, zzyxxe, for the suggestion. I've now added a field for this purpose to the member profile.
Current members, if you desire to do so, please go to your User CP (user control panel; link is at top left on all pages) and add your church website URL to this field. It is found in the "Edit Profile" section near the bottom of that screen. (Near the top of the "Edit Profile" screen is a field for a personal website URL, which was added by default with the installation of vBulletin. So that's always been available.)
However, this field, as with most other fields in the member profile, is optional. It appears to me that most of our members do not complete the optional fields, which doesn't really bother me. Only completed fields show when you look up member info (of someone else) in the member list.
But let me say it seems best for members to always provide the URL to their church website (that they administer) in their posts whenever they talk about their site, either inline or in their signature.
I have made one additional change to the profile: the Real Name field is now required, for new members at least (upon sign up). Based upon a test I did, it appears that current members can get in and out of the User CP without being forced to enter a real name (at least a first name), which is OK with me. I do want new members in the future to at least provide a first name, however.
Sincerely,
