My wife and I maintain our church's website as volunteers. It has turned out pretty well -- despite several stylistic differences early on :)
It's a lot of work maintaing a website on your own, so splitting up the work has helped out a lot.
Our only problem is that when we leave town on vacations the website doesn't get updated :(
